UPL may collect information submitted through registration and team application forms, including name, age, phone/WhatsApp number, email address, village, Gram Panchayat, cricket role, batting/bowling information, photographs, payment information and payment screenshots where applicable.
2. Why we use information
- To process and verify tournament registrations.
- To contact applicants about their application or tournament.
- To manage players, teams, fixtures, results and standings.
- To display approved player information on the public player directory where applicable.
- To verify manual payments and maintain tournament records.
- To protect the website and prevent fraud or misuse.
3. Payment information
UPL does not ask users to send card numbers, CVV, PINs or OTPs through registration forms. If Razorpay is activated in the future, payment processing will be handled through Razorpay's payment infrastructure and its applicable policies.
4. Uploaded photographs
Photographs submitted for player or team registration may be stored on the website server for tournament administration. Approved player photographs may be displayed on the public player directory.
5. Data sharing
UPL does not sell applicant information. Information may be shared with authorised members of the organising committee and service providers where necessary to operate the tournament, website, hosting, payment processing or comply with law.
6. Security
Reasonable technical and administrative measures are used to protect stored information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
